Our installations are all entered into our annual service programme. A wood burning stove or ‘log burner’ is a machine and, like a car, it must be serviced and maintained to enable it to perform well and be given the best fuel possible to obtain the most efficient output.
We send a reminder each Spring to arrange a chimney sweep and safety check of your stove ready for the next burning system. If we find any problems we can advise on the way you use your stove or comment on the quality of wood being burnt.
Our engineers are trained to dust sheet the area in front of the stove, seal with plastic sheet to the stove opening and then brush sweep and vacuum. This creates an airtight seal between stove and vacuum preventing any soot from being present in the air, which can be hazardous to health.
Our engineer will be able to advise on whether you are operating your stove effectively and he will also know if the wood you are burning is well seasoned.
We offer replacement manufacture spares such as new glass, door rope and firebricks so that we can keep your stove in 'tip-top' condition.
